Happy Monday Fashion Lovers! This week we will be looking at how we can wear one of this years hottest trends: The Cutout. More and more we are seeing fashionable pieces with various cutouts on them. These cutouts might me on the shoulder, the sides of the piece, or on the neckline, bringing a new modern vibe to a classic style.
In this weeks outfit we have a Funktional dress featured on our side which is in a beautiful emerald green and features some elegant cutouts on the neckline/collar bone area of an otherwise classic shirt dress. We paired the dress with a bright, bold lipstick, a great bangle and ring, and a colourful shoe. The simplicity of this outfit, makes it versatile and easily transitional from day to night time. So feel free to head from the office to a drink with friends.

This week we’re listening a great band from our native country of Canada! Originating from Vancouver, BC, “Mother Mother” is a band consisting of five members. Their sound is very distinct, and unique.
After listening to their newest album The Sticks, we are absolutely obsessed. The tunes are fun and are filled with amazing instrumentals and vocals. The song “Bit by Bit” makes us want to jam out and and sing along obnoxiously, in the best possible way of course.

Happy fashionable friday everyone! We hope you have all had a great week and are ready for the weekend! We wanted to end of the week with showcasing one of Spring 2013’s trends in a very cute and chic outfit. This week we have chosen the trend Stripes. This trend is great because it is extremely versatile. Big or small stripes, vertical or horizontal, colourful or just back and white, the possibilities are ultimately endless.
That is why we have decided to showcase a pair of striped high-waisted shorts that are perfect for Summer. We’ve paired them with a cute bootie, simple white blouse, and a pop of extra colour with the jewelry and bag. This outfit is perfect for an everyday look, if you want to go out to lunch or take a stroll downtown!

We all know of the saying “April showers bring May flowers”, and it could not be any more true for what we have been dealing with up in Toronto. The rain has been consistent, and frankly these May flowers better come sooner, rather than later, in our opinion. However, for the time being, dealing with the rain is a necessity and ideally we would like to do so in a fashionable manner. Therefore, we have decided to put together a cute, casual look for those rainy days.
A fun, vintage light coat, with some rainboots, jeans, and a cute umbrella is perfect for those rainy Canadian days. Comfort is key on rainy days, and that is most definitely achieved in this outfit in a chic way!
What do you normally like to wear on rainy April days?
