If Quinn didn’t state she’s only 17, we would’ve had to have done a double take. Quinn takes stunning photos with beautifully styled pieces
1. How long have you been blogging for? What made you start?
I started my blog at the beginning of October this year. I’ve been on Lookbook and Chictopia for about a year and a half, now, so it just felt like a natural thing to do. I’d been reading a lot of fashion blogs prior to stating my own, and I just thought to myself one day: “I could totally do this!” So I did.
2. How would you describe your aesthetic?
This is probably one of the most difficult questions I’ve ever had to answer! I guess I would describe my aesthetic as a mix of feminine, vintage pieces and some edgier pieces. My style is mostly influenced by the way people dressed in the 70’s and 80’s. Some days it’s a little bohemian and others it’s very rocker-chick.
3. Your does perfect outfit consists of?
I’m obsessed with platform heels and velvet, so it would probably consist of my red Jeffrey Campbell Tardy boots, vintage black velvet dress with a black leather belt, sheer black tights, black knee high socks and heaps of silver rings!
4. A Fall trend you can’t live without……
I think I’ve gone a little leopard print crazy this season…I’ve collected an awful lot of it. I’ve been seeing a lot of ponchos and capes lately, too and I love them. They’re a fall staple in my wardrobe because not only are they warm and comfortable, but they’re quite stylish as well.
5. One thing on your bucket list you have to do
I’m an aspiring model and I’m also not very tall, so one major thing on my bucket list is to walk in a runway show. It’s been my dream since I was 12 years old.
There is little information about Eugenia Niarchos, daughter of the shipping heir, but what can be said for sure is that she has the kind of pedigree that gossip columnists drool over.
The prototypical fashion-scene socialite, her brother is that Stavros Niarchos who used to cavort with the likes of the Hilton sisters, Olsens and Lohans of the world; her mother of the Guiness family and a cousin of Daphne Guiness. One thing’s for sure, we love Eugenie’s, or Eugenia as she’s sometimes called, style. Friends with Margherita Missoni, she’s gotten the opportunity to appear in lots of Missoni shots.
Here she is shot by Juergen Teller with Tatiana Santo Domingo and Margherita Missoni

Aside from modelling and her presence at the shows, she’s most well known for her jewelry collaboration with childhood friend Gaia Repossi (of the famous jewelry family), which has largely been an excuse to put the ‘private’ Ms. Niarchos in Italian Vogue

Her famous friends don’t stop at the Missoni clan, she also has ties with Pucci’s Peter Dundas (in Anna Dello Russo’s blog no less!)
Niarchos steadily appears in various streetstyle reportage for her interesting styling choices
And of course, who could forget the various balls and parties

As summer approaches, we can’t help but think to ourselves what are some ways we can continue to spruce up our outfits. In the Fall, we saw Sequins as a major fashion trend on the runways. This season, designers have continued with the sequins in some brighter colour perfect for summer. Check out how designers such as Jenny Packham, Anna Sui and Ralph Lauren displayed sequins this season.
Different week, different country, and different designers. From February 14th- 22nd 2012 we saw a whole new array of designers showcasing their designs on the runway. This week we saw designs from the likes of Burberry Prosum, Mulberry, Matthew Williamson, and many more for Fall/Winter 2012. Take a look below at some of the main trends we saw this week in London. One of the first trends we saw was using fur to enhance the shoulders on different designs. This trend definitely makes a bold statement.

Mulberry Fall 2012 RTW
Roksanda Ilincic Fall 2012 RTW Another trend that we saw on the runway this season was the colour orange. Designers took this bold colour and ran with it, truly making it one of the it colours of the season.

Ana, the voice behind Fashion in the Air, hails from Croatia, a land where Game of Thrones is filmed and is quickly becoming the next tourist hotspot! But this girl covers some of your harder to find designers and labels and we love that she’s multi-lingual!
1) How long have you been blogging for? What made you start?
1. I created my blog about two years ago, but at first I wasn’t quite sure how to run it, it was all confusing, and at that time there were almost no fashion blogs in Croatia, so I didn’t have a place where I could go and look what a fashion blog is supposed to look like. I have been blogging regularly for about a year, and I take that as the period I’ve really been blogging for.
I started because I just wanted my own place where I could write about fashion, share my opinions about fashion shows, style, etc.
2) How would you describe your aesthetic?
2. I would say my aesthetic in general is pretty minimalistic. I like beautiful things, things that are beautiful to me. But when I say minimalistic, that doesn’t mean that I don’t like trying new trends, different combinations, etc. I think it’s all a matter of good taste.
3) Your perfect outfit consists of?
3. My perfect outfit consists of a pair of good shorts/skirt + a basic top + a bright-colored blazer + a fabulous pair of platform shoes + an amazing big bag. And of course, fabulous jewelry!
4) Classic trends you can’t live without…
4. Blazers & knitwear.
5) One thing on your bucket list you have to do
5. Oh this is a tough question… There are a lot of things on my bucket list, but if I have to choose one I would say become a succesful interrior designer and a stylist. I’m currently in school to become an interrior designer, and when I finish that, I would love to also study to become a stylist, so I could do any of these two jobs:)
This week, we dedicate our tribute post to the first Asian model to ever walk Victoria Secret’s runway, Liu Wen. Currently ranked as 6th on the Top 50 Models Women List by models.com, she has definitely become one of favourite models to watch for on the runways, in editorials, and on the streets. She’s appeared in campaigns including DKNY Jeans, The GAP, Barneys New York, Benetton, Alexander Wang, Converse, cKone, Bergdorf Goodman, Calvin Klein, Alexander Wang, Dolce & Gabbana, and Vivienne Tam. What we love about her? She has a unique beauty that makes her stand out and she can look glamour, classic, and fierce.

Who else is beyond excited about the arrival of Spring and Summer? I know we are! Often enough, different trends will be reinvented and carried over from one season to the next. In Fall 2011, we saw an abundance of quilting on the runway, especially when it came to outerwear. This season, we saw the same trend but in a smaller and more refined way. It’s all in the details when it comes to quilting this season by adding texture and flare to pieces on the runway. Check out designers such as Chanel, Mackage, Isabel Marant and others as they showcase quilting on the runways this season.

Monika from Diva na urlopie contacted us a while ago about working with her. If you take one look at her blog, you’ll know we didn’t hesitate to answer yes at all. This stylish lady resides in Germany and unlike many bloggers we may be accustomed to on our blogger roll, this girl adds just the right amount of attitude. Granted, we may not understand what she’s writing about, but we’re sure she’s just as rad as she in her pics!
