A Girl Out to Make You Smile

We just can’t get enough of West Coast Alicia Quan from aliciafashionista . This week, we got to sit down and ask her some questions. If you’ve followed her blog, you know that she loves to talk fashion, photography, indie music, romance, and just about anything that will make her readers smile. Her friendly disposition mixed with her West Coast vibe makes this a must-read!

1. How long have you been blogging for? What made you start?
My blog started out as a personal blog and slowly evolved into a fashion blog. I’ve had my blog for about 3.5 years now and all started with a need for a creative outlet. As I worked in the fashion industry and attended fashion school, it seemed to only make sense to transform into a personal style blog.

2. How would you describe your aesthetic?
The best description I ever heard was Westcoast Chic. I definitely try to always look put together, while highlighting some trends, and of course personality.

3. What does your perfect outfit consists of?
A large brimmed felt hat and lots of stacked bracelets, with a printed sheer blouse tucked into slim trousers that are rolled at the ankle to show off a great pair of booties! Very seventies inspired with a modern twist.

4. A Fall trend you can’t live without……
I’d have to say that without my extensive collection of silk blouses, I’d be lost!

5. One thing on your bucket list you have to do
Own a Chanel purse and live abroad for a year (sorry, I guess that’s two!)
