Fashion Icon of the Week: Catherine Deneuve

One of France’s most iconic actresses recognized all around the world, Catherine Deneuve is one of the most elegant actresses of our time. Over the years, she’s represented Chanel NO. 5, causing sales to skyrocket in the US. As a muse of Yves St. Laurent, she was the face of the YSL skin care line in 1992. She’s often worn his clothes and he dressed her for her films Belle de Jour, La Chamade, La sirène du Mississipi, Liza, and The Hunger. Not only is she a film and fashion icon, she’s also politically active fighting for women’s rights, against landmines, children’s welfare, climate change and more.
