Moving East this week from Italy, we focus on Paris, France for their much anticipated fall fashion week which took place February 28th- March 7th 2012. In Paris we saw some new trends, and some trends which have become familiar to us throughout each Fashion Week covered thus far. Some of the biggest design houses known in fashion today showcased their designs this week which included Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Lanvin, and many more. Some of the main trends we saw this week were leather, fur, the colour green, and feathers.
The first trend is one that we’ve seen time and time again. That is: Leather. Leather proved to be huge at Paris Fashion Week, from little embellishments to designers creating whole ensembles out of leather.

The next trend seen this week is not for the very ticklish. This trend was: Feathers. Designers added some fun and flare to their designs with feather elements which moved beautifully on the runway.

This week, we venture away from London moving East towards the one and only Milan! In Milan, we definitely saw some stunning collections by some of our favourite designers such as Dolce and Gabbana, Ferragamo, Gucci, and many more. During this week we saw new trends for fall, but we also saw some trends that we saw in New York City and London. The trends we’re going to look at from Milan are Peplums, Statement Fur, Military, Royal Purple and Capes. Check out below for some of our coverage on these trends.
Peplums were found on a variety of different designers runways. This trend is a great way to add structure and a new silhouette to an outfit.
